Lost 30 lbs. and 16″ in 26 weeks

As a business owner and stay-at-home mom that homeschools her two boys, Hazely struggled to find balance between her busy schedule and taking care of herself. Hazely then discovered the SlimFast Plan.

Where to start? SlimFast has completely changed my life. A few months ago I decided to begin a journey that I never thought could impact my life so much. When I started SlimFast, I knew it would be a great opportunity to get my old body back. I am a business owner, a mom of 2 boys (whom I homeschool full-time), a housewife, and overall just very busy.

When I was instructed on how the SlimFast Plan worked, I said: “This is perfect for my busy life! I just don’t really think I can lose over 20 pounds.” And here we are, after committing myself to my goal! I can tell you today that I have lost over 25 pounds! Yes! I went from size 8 to a size 1-2! I feel AMAZING!

I used to hate having breakfast. Now I love it and wake up eager to have my smoothie! I love using the SlimFast Advanced Vanilla Smoothie powder. My recipe is simple: 1 scoop of the SlimFast Advanced Vanilla Smoothie powder, 1/2 banana, 1 cup of 30 calorie almond milk, 1 tbsp. of peanut butter powder, 1 tbsp. of ground flaxseed, tons of ice, and hot coffee! Yes, hot coffee, because when I pour the hot coffee into my blender with the ice and all the ingredients, it helps everything blend better with the ice and it makes a bigger portion. What does a bigger portion do for me? I drink my shake over the course of an hour. Then I feel full longer! All together the shake is about 255 calories with 17g of protein. I skip one snack a day to allow for extra ingredients in my shake!

After my morning shake I do my workout. Whether it’s an at home workout, in the gym, or hot yoga, I try to burn 250-350 calories per workout. Then I continue my day! After my workout I have a SlimFast Snack, then a shake for lunch, then another snack, then a dinner around 500 calories and boom! Oh, and I drink a LOT of Water! I decided to count my calories at the beginning to learn how I should be eating. With time, I learned to understand my body and know what I should and should not eat. The best part is that I only have to worry about ONE meal: My dinner! Because everything else is just so easy!

During dinner I get creative. I like searching for fun and healthy recipes and now my whole family enjoys dinner time even more! It is pretty great when your 8-year-old tells you: “Mommy, I like what you are having, can I have some?” I am so thankful that I found SlimFast!!!!! Everyone kept telling me in my journey that I could do it and to not give up. It was not until I actually did it that I finally realized when we have a goal, it just takes commitment and passion to do it… then the reward is simply priceless! Now SlimFast is officially part of my life!
