You can definitely drink tea and coffee while you are on the SlimFast® Plan, just be mindful of the calories you’re consuming. Tea and coffee have very few calories on their own—with one cup of black coffee containing just 1 calorie and a cup of hot green tea just 5 calories. But, if you’re the type to add sugars and milk to your morning beverage, then you might have to reconstruct your plan. Some days, you can opt to take your coffee black and your tea unsweetened, and other days you can indulge as long as you deduct those calories from your daily intake.
Beware of milky coffees from your favorite coffee shop. A skinny cappuccino could be around 100 calories or more especially if it is made with semi-skimmed milk. You can still enjoy these on the SlimFast Plan, you just need to swap one milky coffee for one of your snacks.
