How I Stick to the SlimFast Plan on Valentine’s Day

There are few things I love more than chocolate - but one of them is LOVE! Valentine’s Day is a great time to share your love and support with others and I look forward to it every year. While this holiday is filled with eating out and sugary treats, I want to share with you what my day will look like this Valentine’s Day so you can use it as a model to stay on track while still having the room to celebrate!

I typically start my day with coffee and a SlimFast meal bar. Huge shout out to my new favorite flavor, the Peanut Butter Crunch meal bar. It’s a quick, easy and reliable way to fuel up for the day.

Lunch is usually a SlimFast ready-to-drink shake. I love the Advanced Energy line because it helps me get ahead of the midday slump (among many other reasons). I love that I can drink it in the car while running errands or chasing around my toddler.

When my sweet tooth kicks in, I have a whole jar of SlimFast Keto Fat Bomb Snack Cups & Stuffed Cups in my kitchen! I fill it with a variety of flavors and keep it out on the counter so that I can grab a snack whenever I need one. Bonus points for these because they have so many different flavor options that remind me of my favorite candy. I don’t feel like I’m missing out at all and I love that these are part of my day on the SlimFast Plan - seriously such a treat!

We are planning date night for Valentine’s Day this year. My husband and I love eating out and connecting and I love that even though I’m following the SlimFast Plan, I don’t have to miss out on that!

My top tips are:

  • Look at the menu ahead of time. Lots of places have menu items and calorie counts listed online! Use that resource to help you pick something that fits into The Plan!
  • Don’t be afraid to share. If it’s a new place and you want to try out different things, this is a perfect opportunity to mix and match different entrees or appetizers.
  • Ask for a box so you can portion out your meal. You get to enjoy eating out while sticking to The Plan and you get to have leftovers to bring home too!
