Halloween is just around the corner and with all the costume parties and trick-or-treating, there’s an endless supply of candy which can lead to endless snacking! SlimFast Brand Ambassador Joann shares her tips for how to stay on track during this sweet holiday.
Halloween kicks off the holiday season for my family! As a kid I always loved Halloween and looking back, my favorite memories include things like: pumpkin patches, crunching leaf piles, and apple picking. For those of you with a sweet tooth, Halloween can definitely trigger a moment of panic if you’re looking to stick to the SlimFast Plan! I’m here to offer some tips and tricks for you to follow that can keep the start of this holiday season enjoyable and fun.

1. Partake in Non-Food Related Celebrations
Like I mentioned, there are so many fun activities that don’t involve food! Themed movie nights, decorating for the holidays, and enjoying walks in the cooler weather are all great ways to celebrate the fall season and still stick to your goals. I really enjoy walks as a family. It’s a great way to connect with one another, get some steps in and get myself moving and ready to take on the day.

2. Track What you Snack (On)!
Enjoy your favorite bite sized candy but remember to track your calories so that you can still stick to your goals. Our SlimFast Together app is a great place do this as well as finding ideas and recipes for different snacks you can enjoy if you’re looking to mix it up! I just made a Keto pumpkin cheesecake and it was such a treat!

3. Try Different SlimFast Snacks!
I love that there are so many ways to enjoy chocolate on the SlimFast Plan. The SlimFast Keto Fat Bomb line has tons of snack options in many different flavors so there is something for everyone! My personal favorites include the Dark Chocolate Almond Square and the Caramel Chocolate Snack Cups!

As I maintain my weight loss, things are still always changing for me! I just became a mom last year and I want to stay healthy not only for myself but to set a good example for my son! I want him to enjoy candy but know what moderation is. I feel proud and empowered knowing that starts with me! It keeps me motivated and ready to take on Halloween, candy and all!
