Lost 63 lbs. and 36″ in 26 weeks

After seeing pictures of herself at 191 lbs., Deborah decided she had to make a change and lose weight. It wasn’t until SlimFast that she was able to lose 63 lbs

I started the SlimFast Plan in December 2015. It’s really tough for most people to stick to a diet around the holidays, never mind just starting one like I did. But with the SlimFast products it was very easy to follow and everything tasted delicious. At 5’5″, I started SlimFast at 191 lbs and lost 63 lbs. in 26 weeks! I went from a size 14 to a size 2. Before I lost the weight I was always tired and would lose my breath when I would walk up a flight of stairs. I was looking for a change and knew I had to do something quick to get my life back.

I chose SlimFast because it’s been around for years, and my mom used it before and lost weight. So I started, and my routine was to have a shake in the morning for breakfast, a SlimFast 100 calorie snack mid-morning, for lunch I would have a meal replacement shake, I would have a second SlimFast snack mid-afternoon, followed by a healthy 500 calorie dinner, and a 100 calorie snack as a treat after dinner.

One of my favorite things about the SlimFast support is that you can look up meal ideas and recipes on the SlimFast website. The products tasted great and you can always switch it up, so I never got bored. If you want to eat your 500 calorie meal for lunch and have a shake in the morning and a shake for dinner you can. What I like the most about this plan is how convenient it is. If you’re on the go you just take the shake and snacks with you. You never have an excuse to cheat.

I live in Florida and have two teenage daughters and we eat out at restaurants a lot. This program is awesome because you can eat out and still stick to this diet.

I also started to add exercise to my routine and that was difficult for me. I hadn’t exercised in a long time and became very lazy. The first week of exercise was hard but it got better each week. Nothing in life is easy! I kept saying to myself, I didn’t get this way overnight and it will take time to lose it. I also learned not to be so hard on myself. I can do anything if I just try.

Each week I added on different exercises , even running. I never thought I be able to run, to my surprise I enter a 5k and finished it. I felt so proud of myself for pushing through and not giving up.

I lost a total of 63 pounds and 36 inches on the SlimFast Plan in 6 months! This program has helped me become a lot more confident, and I’m no longer shy like I used to be. Now, I am looking to maintain my weight and just tighten my muscles more. I even thought about going back to school when my daughter graduates. Who knows what the futures holds, but I know I won’t be gaining this weight back. SlimFast has changed my life and it can change yours too
