Before starting his weight loss journey with SlimFast, Jonathan’s weight was starting to take a toll on his athletic hobbies. With SlimFast he lost 35 lbs. and 22 inches in 28 weeks and shares his success below.

I began my journey with SlimFast on August 20, 2017. I ballooned up more than I ever thought possible. I was well over 200 pounds, feeling slight signs of pain in my ankles and other areas, approaching 30 years old, and feeling very low about myself. I needed to do something drastic before I went down a path, I’d never find my way out of.

So, as I stepped on the scale that morning and snapped a picture of it reading 208.8 pounds, it was time for me to stop feeling sorry for myself and get myself on the fast track to a slimmer me. That’s where SlimFast came in. A reasonable plan that anyone can follow by having 3 snacks, 2 meal replacements and 1 reasonably portioned meal. As the saying goes, it’s as easy as 1-2-3.

After the first week, losing 6.6 pounds felt surreal but there it was on the scale … 202.2 pounds. I kept at it with the meals while also mixing up my exercise routines to keep my body guessing. It helped that I had the full support of my family, friends and jiu-jitsu teammates who would comment on my slimmer appearance. I realized that this wasn’t a weight loss diet but a healthy lifestyle change that I needed.


Not to say there weren’t any setbacks on my journey, as some occasions called on eating more than I planned (like the holidays). I stuck to my routine and did not allow it to slow my progress down. Let me cover the products themselves for a bit. The shakes have a smooth texture to them along with their delicious taste. I definitely love the Advanced Strawberries & Cream. The snacks have just about everything for someone with a sweet tooth.

March 6, 2018 arrived … just a little over 6 months, and I lost 35 pounds and 22 inches off my waist. I didn’t think I was going to lose so much, let alone make it this far - but I did! I lost a lot of weight but gained so much more: a positive outlook, a better physical appearance, a more disciplined routine to carry on my life with … an all-around healthier lifestyle.
