Lost 34 lbs and 24” in 28 weeks†
After struggling with her weight and insecurities for some time, Rebecca came across the SlimFast Plan. In just 28 weeks, she lost 34 lbs and 24” and learned how to be comfortable in her own skin. She shares her SlimFast success below.
My strongest desire was to feel sexy, beautiful, and at home in my own skin. My name is Rebecca and I battled with my weight for years. Well, that is until I embraced the SlimFast Plan.
My story is not unique and was the foundation that set up an unhealthy relationship with food that came to the surface when I embraced healing and recovery. The catalyst for my yo-yo dieting and food shame for over forty years was childhood abuse at the tender age of six. This soul fracture altered the way I saw myself and how I felt about my body. I was popular and thin, but I hid behind my outgoing personality to cover up the many negative facets of my insecurities. To the normal eyes I was perfect, but the battle I fought inside with food, binge eating, and extreme dieting was an unhealthy relationship that I needed to change.
In the past, diet success was temporary. If I lost weight, I would gain it all back only to feel a great sense of shame and failure. I would then give up until I got disgusted with myself and then start the cycle over and go gangbusters into the next weight loss fad. The results were always the same…temporary.
This all changed when I was introduced to the SlimFast Together Community. I mustered every bit of strength I had to make the decision to do something different for long lasting results. During the 28 weeks I was on the SlimFast Plan I lost 34 pounds and 24 inches. Yes, I struggled with old food patterns, but I was determined to hold on to the commitment I made to SlimFast and to myself. Change began to take root because I was becoming aware of what eating behaviors and patterns I needed to change to become the best version of me that I could become.

The Plan and the grab-and-go lifestyle made my busy life as a mom, advocate, author, and speaker more enjoyable and stress free. I also committed to exercise more often to avoid letting my mind sabotage my goals. Each time I wanted to sit and eat something that would not benefit me, I would take a walk or choose to do something that would help not hurt my weight loss goals. So, YES I DID! And YOU CAN TOO!
